LaGuardia Redevelopment - Swissport SA USA
Supported Swissport USA operations at LaGuardia Airport by training, developing, and mentoring ground transportation supervisors and operators during a period of rapid expansion. Contributed to scaling the operation from an 8-bus fleet generating 70,000 annual service hours to a 26-bus fleet producing 227,000 hours. Provided ongoing leadership coaching to management personnel while designing and delivering training programs for both supervisors and frontline operators. Introduced process improvements and industry best practices to manage increased operational complexity and enhance service delivery. Conducted data collection and audit support to optimize bus utilization and reduce passenger wait times, ensuring performance consistently met or exceeded customer expectations.
Response to RFP for Shuttle Bus Maintenance, Fueling and Washing for Los Angeles World Airports (LAX)
Authored a comprehensive response to a competitive RFP on behalf of Swissport, including detailed cost modeling and financial projections. Developed a compelling, data-driven proposal that aligned operational capabilities with client requirements and strategic objectives. The submission resulted in Swissport being awarded a six-year contract, with options for four additional one-year extensions, totaling $16.7 million in value.
SeaPort Airlines Airport Services Manual
Authored the comprehensive Airport Services Manual (ASM) for SeaPort Airlines, a Part 135 scheduled carrier, establishing standardized operating practices across all airport locations. The manual supported a mixed fleet of Cessna 208 Caravan and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and encompassed all facets of airport operations. Developed detailed procedures for ground handling, aircraft interior and exterior cleaning, passenger check-in, baggage acceptance, and overall station management. The ASM ensured regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and a high standard of safety and customer service across the network.
Carrier Launch - New Pacific Airlines
​Led the airport operations and airports training teams in the successful launch of commercial jet service for Ravn Alaska Airlines, overseeing the end-to-end integration of a new aircraft type into operations. Spearheaded negotiations for ground handling contracts, secured operational facilities, and achieved favorable lease agreements to support expansion. Developed comprehensive policies and procedures tailored to jet service operations, and authored and delivered specialized training programs focused on the Boeing 757, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team readiness across all departments.
